The PIG19-16414 receiver collar (included with your fence purchase) has 4 levels of low to medium static stimulation levels recommended for pet breed dogs above 6 months old with a mild to medium temperament.

Unlike other PetSafe fence collars that require replaceable batteries every few of months, the PIG19-16414 receiver collar is completely rechargeable, saving you the ongoing cost of batteries. The collar receiver collar will achieve a full charge in 2-3 hours and each charge lasts up to 2 months depending on use. This fencing system can cover up to 25 acres with additional boundary wire and can contain an unlimited number of pets within your property providing they are wearing compatible receiver collars.

How the PetSafe Rechargeable Dog Fence PIG19-16413 Works

The fence transmitter emits an AM radio signal through the wire and around your property. This radio signal creates an invisible boundary width that has a warning zone and correction zone. When your dog approaches wire and enters the warning zone, the receiver collar (worn on your dog's neck) will deliver a warning tone. If your dog ignores this warning tone and continues towards the wire and enters the correction zone, the collar will deliver a safe static stimulation to remind your dog to retreat back into the 'safe zone' where they can roam around freely.

The static stimulation on your dog's receiver collar can be adjusted to match their drive. If your dog tries to run through the boundary, the collar has a run-through prevention feature that will automatically increase in correction levels to remind them to stay in the 'safe zone'. If for any reason your dog gets stuck in the correction zone, the collar also features a safety cut-off that will turn the collar off after 15 continuous seconds of stimulation.
