The SportDOG SDF-100C-22 Dog Fence System keeps your dog safe 24/7. Whether you need to create a boundary around your entire property, block off a gateway or driveway, or just protect garden beds, you can do it all.

The rechargeable receiver collar has a sleek, compact design with low to high correction levels perfect for all dogs above 5kg.

Included with the kit is 300m of wire and you can expand the system up to 100 acres with additional boundary kits. If you have multiple dogs/pets,you can also add them to the system with additional SDF-CR-22 collars.

How a Dog Fence Works

There are 3 main components to a containment fence system; The transmitter, wire and receiver collar.

Transmitter: The transmitter is placed inside your home or garage and plugged into mains power. The transmitter continuously sends a radio signal through the boundary wire.

The Boundary Wire: The boundary wire can either be buried in the ground, attached to any existing fencing, or secured in the ground with fence staples. The boundary wire carries the radio signal around your property, creating two invisible zones; a warning zone and stimulation zone.

Receiver Collar & Stimulation Zones: Your dog's receiver collar communicates with the radio signal emitted from the wire. When your dog approaches the warning zone, the collar delivers audible warning tone to let them know that they're approaching the boundary. If your dog ignores the warning tone and proceeds towards the boundary and into the stimulation zone, the collar will deliver a momentary static stimulation to remind your dog to retreat back into the safe zone.

The End Result: With consistent training, your dog will understand the boundary area and freely roam around the yard without testing the system.

Please note: Completing the required training with your dog ensures that they will understand how to respond to the warning tone and static correction.
