The SportDOG Contain + Train is SportDOG's first and only containment fence and remote training system in one! The Contain + Train is a combination of our popular SportDOG Containment Fence SDF-100A to keep your dog contained within your yard and the SportDOG SD-425E Remote Trainer to correct any unwanted behaviour and to train working/performance dogs within or beyond your boundary.

How the SportDOG Contain + Train Works

Unlike other receiver collars that are only compatible with their corresponding fence or training system, the Contain + Train receiver collar is designed for compatibility with the radio signal emitted from both the SportDOG containment fence system and the remote transmitter.

The collar will deliver a safe static correction when:

• Your dog walks towards the containment fence stimulation zone
• You press the stimulation button on your remote trainer

Modes of Operation

Containment and Training mode

When the collar is set to containment and training mode, you are able to simultaneously train your dog within the set containment area. The collar picks up the radio signal from both the containment fence and your remote trainer. This will result in the receiver collar delivering a safe static stimulation.
 

Containment-only mode

When the collar is set to containment-only mode, the receiver collar will only pick up the radio signal emitted from the boundary wire and deliver a static correction when your dog enters the stimulation zone. The collar will not pick up the radio signal emitted from the remote transmitter.

Training-only mode

When the collar is set to Training-only mode, the receiver collar will only pick up the radio signal emitted from the remote transmitter. The remote transmitter has 7 levels of correction and is adjustable by turning the dial on the top of the transmitter. The training-only mode can be used around your home within the containment boundary as well as away from your home as it functions independently from the fence.
