Shipping and Returns

At K9 Control New Zealand we offer the fairest shipping rates around.  We believe in a flat shipping rate no matter where you are in New Zealand!  We also believe a flat shipping rate for all items is not fair when you are just ordering replacement batteries for example.  The table below is indicative of the cost of shipping for most items based on weight.  You can check the shipping charge at anytime on the top right of any product page. 

At K9 Control New Zealand we utilize a variety of shipping companies to deliver all our products, in order to keep our rates down.  Due to the value of some of our products we require a signature at collection.

What's your shipping policy?

Once you sign for freight, you own the product. Most of the time freight company and manufacturers do not approve insurance claim, once you sign for freight free & clear. Hence we suggest you inspect freight before you sign for product. If the item is damaged , please refuse the product.

For your convenience, you can select the authority to leave option in the checkout cart, this allows you to have the item left in a safe location on your property. However, K9 Control NZ cannot be held responsible for any loss or damage of your goods that occur after delivery. This includes but is not limited to damaged caused by theft, animals or people.

How long does it take to get products?

Depends on the product and your location. Shipping time is anywhere between 1-5 working days for delivery (On most occasions it is overnight!) depending on Courier Post. Out of Stock items may take longer.  Complex or specialized products may also take longer to be shipped.  Orders received by 11.00am are usually dispatched the same day. 

Where do you ship? Do you ship international?

We only ship within the boundaries of New Zealand.

Do you allow Pick Up?

Yes we do.  Pick up is from our independent distribution warehouse in Auckland (not a shop).  $10.00 is charged for pick up which is reflective of what we are charged to provide a pick up service.

Please do not return any item without having contacted K9 Control NZ.

We recommend that you return the product via a reputable postal/freight provider, and that you take out insurance on expensive items to cover any risk of lost, theft or damaged goods during transit.  You must pre pay all returned postage costs. K9 Control New Zealand reserves the right to refuse to accept, and to return, parcels that arrive COD or have "More To Pay" stamped on them.

At K9 Control we offer an unconditional, no questions asked 60 day money back guarantee on all unused and unopened items, we stock.

If you get the product home and decide you do not want to keep it or your circumstances change between purchasing and the product arriving you have the option to return it to us.

A processing fee of 5% (min $15.00) of the purchase price will be charged on all returned items.

We will do replacement for products that are damaged by carrier, defective, or wrong item due to our fulfillment errors. Sometimes defective items have to be replaced by the manufacturer and falls under manufacturers warranty & proper intended use. Please note, you will have the manufacturers warranty even after the expiration of return policy.

What does your return policy not cover?

Not limited to, but certain cases of returns are not allowed.
* You have used the product. (Your return is automatically void)
* You thought the product would be for something other than what our description states

Special Cases

In certain extraordinary circumstances, refund/exchange may be arranged. (Don't assume this, as they are rare and most manufacturers don't allow returns).
