How it Works

The PBC17-16000 bark collar has 15 levels of static stimulation and uses Temperament Learning functionality. Temperament Learning tracks the level of stimulation needed to control your dog's nuisance barking. When you put the collar on your dog for the first time and they begin barking, the collar delivers the lowest static electric stimulation level (level 1) and increases level with each successive bark until the barking stops. The stimulation level that stops your dog's barking becomes the starting level the next time your dog barks. For example, if level 5 stops your dog's barking, the collar will deliver a stimulation at level 5 the next time your dog barks.

NOTE: As a built-in safety feature, if your dog barks 15 times or more within an 80 second period, the bark control collar will automatically shut off for 3 minutes.

Resetting the Stimulation Level

1. Press and release the on/off button to turn ON the Bark Control collar. Wait 5-10 seconds.
2. Press and hold the on/off button for 10 seconds. The green LED will flash 5 times.
3. Release the on/off button to turn the Bark Control collar OFF.
4. The stimulation level will then return to 1.
